Prof Yolanda Jordaan is a full professor and Head of the Department of Marketing Management in the Faculty of Economic and Management Sciences at the University of Pretoria. 

Her research focus area is mainly in the field of consumer information privacy and protection. She has been an NRF-rated researcher since 2011. She is a board member of the Southern Africa Institute for Management Scientists. She is also a board member of the Marketing Association of South Africa. She is the South African marketing industry’s representative for the Services SETA at the European Marketing Confederation’s Academic Group, whose main aim is to extend research collaboration and sharing across nations. 

Prof Jordaan is the house mother at one of the female student residences at the University of Pretoria, where she and her husband take care of over 300 female students.
