Xolile Antoni is a distinguished academic leader who is currently serving as the Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Commerce and an Associate Professor in the Department of Management at Rhodes University. Professor Antoni has specialised expertise in Personal Finance and is a member of the Financial Planning Institute of South Africa (FPI).  

He holds a PhD in Business Management from Nelson Mandela University and a complementary Postgraduate Diploma in Financial Planning. He also earned a Postgraduate Diploma in Higher Education from Rhodes University. His primary research expertise lies in Financial Socialisation, Financial Literacy and Personal Finance. He serves as a researcher and examiner for financial literacy research across South Africa.

His contributions have been recognised through the Faculty Researcher Award, conferred by Rhodes University for outstanding contributions to the field of Personal Finance. His global and national contributions include publications in peer-reviewed journals and presentations at international and national conferences.
